Tell us a bit about yourself.
I’m Ukrainian – this defines my character a lot. Sometimes I seem too serious and cold, but I’m a little bit crazy and way too brave, even when I really shouldn’t be. I’ve worked on TV since I was 16, I’m a writer, but now more often I produce shows – though usually people assume I am a host – and I do everything from travel, talent shows to serious documentaries. I am a total book nerd and when I’m drunk I might start reciting silly French poems. Oh yes, I also speak six languages fluently.
What would people be most surprised to know about you?
I love snakes. They are hypnotising in the way they move and are just one pure muscle, strong, flexible and warm when touched. One of my biggest dreams is to own a python.
When do you feel sexy?
After a long day at the beach, when my skin is still a little bit salty after swimming in the ocean, the first tan appearing on my shoulders and stomach, sand in my hair and the whole body hot and relaxed.
What’s next for you?
I’m filming my own documentary series about women around the world. I have been working on this project for three years, so I am both very nervous and excited to have the premiere in Cannes in October. Also, my debut novel was accepted for publishing – it also explores the topics of being a woman, dealing with society, sex and violence. The story is set in the city I adore and miss a lot, my native Kyiv.
